My name is Tina Wang
Founder’s Story
As a dance teacher trained in Taiwan, I started Closter Chinese Association because I wanted to bring Chinese cultural dance to children and families in my community.
I love teaching children, and I believe Chinese dance is more than performance. Through movement, music, and rhythm, it carries culture, history, beauty, and identity. My hope is to create a place where children can learn Chinese culture, build confidence, and feel proud of who they are.
This organization began with a simple dream: to give children and families meaningful access to Chinese cultural dance in a warm, supportive, and community-centered environment. As we grow, I hope Closter Chinese Association will become a trusted cultural arts program and, over time, a Chinese arts school where children and families can stay connected to culture through the arts.
WHAT WE DO
We provide Chinese cultural dance education for children, families, and schools through classes, workshops, performances, and cultural celebrations.
Chinese Dance Program
Our Chinese Dance Program helps children learn culture through movement, music, rhythm, and performance in a fun and supportive environment.
School Cultural Programs
Partnering with schools and PTOs to offer Chinese cultural dance workshops, Lunar New Year programs, and student performance support.
Community Events
Bringing families and the community together through cultural celebrations, performances, and hands-on experiences that deepen children’s connection to Chinese culture.

Closter Chinese Association provides Chinese cultural dance education for children and families, helping them build confidence, deepen their understanding of Chinese culture, and proudly share their heritage with the community.
Who We Serve
Our main audience is children ages 6 to 14, especially elementary and middle school students from Asian immigrant families who want to stay connected to their cultural roots. We also welcome any family interested in learning Chinese culture through dance. Our secondary audience includes parents, schools, and the broader community.
